Graduating from Syracuse University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, he embarked on an illustrious eleven-season career in professional football, spanning from 1988 to 1998. For seven seasons, he racked up tackles for the New York Jets, before becoming a cornerstone of the inaugural and sophomore campaigns of the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 1997, he donned the green and gold of the Green Bay Packers, culminating in a Super Bowl XXXII appearance. Paul ended his eleven-year career as a Baltimore Raven for the 1998 season. A testament to his fortitude, Paul clinched the peer-voted Ed Block Courage Award unprecedentedly twice in the award’s 41-year history, solidifying his status as a paragon of strength and inspiration.

Born in Elmira, New York, and raised in Barrington, New Hampshire, Paul Frase's roots run deep in the town of Rochester, New Hampshire, where he played high school football. After navigating the rigors of a division 1 student athlete at Syracuse University, Paul emerged in 1988 securing a bachelor's degree in psychology and was poised for the NFL draft. It was on the hallowed turf fields of the NFL where his narrative flourished. Over the span of eleven seasons, from 1988 to 1998, Paul left an indelible mark, showcasing his skill and tenacity. Being the only student athlete from Spaulding High School, and one of the few ever from the state of New Hampshire to make it to the NFL, Paul competed with some of the most elite athletes to ever play the game of football.
